Ault, Clark designs meet the specific needs and objectives of each client. The firm has completed over 1000 projects including new facilities, additions to existing courses, and various degrees of remodeling and restoration. Ault, Clark designs are well-known for making maximum use of each site to create distinctive and exciting experience for all players and in some cases spectators, as well as television audiences.

HISTORY Edmund B. Ault (1908-1989) established the firm in the late 1950s. His direction and many years experience as a prominent golf course architect helped the firm develop innovative design concepts and proven construction administration techniques. In 1984, the firm reorganized as Ault, Clark & Associates, Ltd. The philosophies and standards established by Ed Ault remain the guiding force.

For more than 60 years Ault, Clark & Associates, Ltd. has specialized in designing golf courses, golf course additions and golf course renovations. 

Design Services is intended to convey an idea of the type and extent of some of the various tasks that we at Ault, Clark would perform during the design or renovation of your golf course facility.  Hopefully, they will help to offer a better understanding of the design process as well as the other consultants required for any project. "Project List" and "Featured Courses" show the types of courses by intended use, along with abbreviated lists of courses.

Though we at Ault, Clark do not build, own, operate, or manage any of the facilities that we design, we can certainly assist our Clients in retaining these services either through separate contract or, as the Client may prefer, we can assemble and lead a team of professionals working under one all-inclusive contract for the required services and have been for over 60 years.
